Achieving distinctive results with digital methods

Gear

From time to time folks are interested in the gear I use regularly. I am not of the school that says equipment doesn’t matter. I feel that my craft is of the maturity that it can make full benefit of quality camera gear.

I use Canon equipment. I only use it for one reason: when I started acquiring a DSLR system the Digital Rebel was affordable and Nikon had poor image quality. That led me down the road to a serious investment to L glass. Nikon now has their act together. I might have decided differently if I was looking at the DSLR market today; maybe not. At any rate, my Canon system serves me very well. Most of my acquantences now shoot Nikon with pleasing results as well.
